ResoLab: a school year of experimentation in Spain comes to an end

May 27, 2025 marks the last intervention of the 2024 – 2025 school year with the 5th and 6th primaria classes of the Egiluze Taldea school in Hondarribia. This is an important part of the ResoLab experiment that is coming to an end and which required a lot of coordination work for the French partners of the ResoLab project.

The creation of an original partnership

To carry out this activity, AdoEnia and LaNum Pays Basque were able to work in partnership with:

·         Bidassoa Activa to find a school in Gipuzkoa that agrees to participate in the ResoLab experiment;

·         The Egiluze Taldea plant in Hondarribia, which has committed to the project with the condition that the interventions be in Basque;

·         The City of Bayonne (Cyberbase Malégarie and the Municipal Socio-Cultural Space) for the creation of resources and scenarios;

·         Etcharry Formation for the animations and presentation of the platform in Basque to students;

·         High school students from the AEPA (Bac Pro Animation for Children and the Elderly) and their teachers from the Basque-speaking Bernat Etxepare school in Bayonne for the facilitation of awareness-raising sessions and learning digital skills in Basque.

5 scenarios related to the 5 areas of expertise of the DIGCOMP

In order to be able to propose situations similar to those that children may encounter in "mainstream" social networks and to increase their skills, scenarios have been published on ResoLab by an anonymous account in order to measure the reaction of young people. A classroom intervention to take up these reactions, disseminate a prevention message and evaluate the increase in skills completed this activity.

·         On January 15, 2025, the first session allowed children to work on issues of image rights, copyright and the principle of validation of a publication by a referent adult;

·         On 12 February 2025, a second session addressed the theme of fake news, encouraging critical thinking and online responsibility;

·         On 12 March 2025, the third session dealt with the sensitive issue of cyberviolence;

·         On 8 April 2025, for the fourth session, the focus was on the notion of personal data and the need to protect it;

·         On May 27, 2025, the last session focused on the "uncontrolled" use of screens and its potential harmful effects before ending, as a concluding guide, with advice on the reasonable use of digital technology, which is beneficial for both their health and that of the planet.
